Rick's 40th Birthday

Today is my supervisor's--Rick Shoemaker--4oth birthday. Way back in January we all started to endearingly refer to him as Ricky Bobby. He was a good sport and played along and even did a Shake & Bake skit during the Sales & Marketing conference.

Soon after it died down when he decided it verged on disrespect when we never used his name and always resorted to Ricky Bobby.

Naturally, for his birthday, we* found it necessary to resurrect the nickname and create the poster below. It's plastered all over the office and there's a life-size one hanging on his door.


Additionally, Emily suggested that we make everyone in the office where nametags with their NASCAR name. One's NASCAR name is created by combining, in any order, the first names of your two grandfathers.

My would be Frank Whalen.
