starbucks drive-thru

the starbucks drive-thru is no doubt one of the best inventions of the 21st century. though i often wonder if it'd be faster if just got out of the car and went in. but then again no. it's too early. and i don't want to have to fake smile at more people then i have to.

this morning i happened to have the pleasure of being in line behind a nerdtastic guy that would not SCOOT UP. oooh that makes me heated. SCOOOOOT UPPPPP duuuuddee. Get out the way. there was approximately 1.5 car lengths in front of him and i'm backed out the driveway blocking traffic because his bottle cap spectacles weren't strong enough for him to see that if he'd only scoot up he wouldn't hit anything.

ughhh.

i wouldn't be surprised if starbucks planted people like him in their lines. that way everyone is in a tizzy until they get their coffee and then all of sudden their frustration melts away and the product gets to be the hero. i should work in marketing. that's brilliant.
